North Coast Region Planning Grant Updates
DWR and the SWRCB administer planning grants which are intended to foster development or completion of IRWM Plans or components thereof, to enhance regional planning efforts, and to assist more applicants to become eligible for Implementation Grant funding http://www.swrcb.ca.gov/funding/irwmgp/.
Planning funds for the North Coast IRWMP were awarded by the State IRWM program, and Humboldt
County is currently administering a planning grant that supports Phase II of

Integrated Coastal Watershed Management Planning (ICWMP) grants are underway in the following watersheds within the North Coast region: Russian River, Noyo & Big Rivers, Salmon Creek, Mattole River and the Trinidad Area of Special Biological Significance (ASBS), and will integrate with the North Coast IRWMP.
