Economic Recovery: State Revolving Fund Application

CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND PROGRAM
The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) program was established through the Federal Water Pollution Control Act or Clean Water Act. The program is funded by Federal grants, State funds, and Revenue Bonds. The purpose of the CWSRF program is to provide financial assistance for the construction of facilities or implementation of projects that prevent pollution and enhance water quality.
Eligible projects include construction of publicly-owned wastewater treatment facilities, local sewers, sewer interceptors, water recycling facilities, implementation of nonpoint source (NPS) projects or programs, development/implementation of estuary Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plans, and storm water treatment. http://www.swrcb.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/grants_loans/srf/index.shtml

Regional/Public Workshops
The CWSRF program will be hosting public workshops throughout the state to
provide more information on their low-cost funding options and to discuss the
future of the program.
Federal Economic Recovery Package

CWSRF Program Project Priority List
The Division of Financial Assistance will be updating the CWSRF Program Project Priority List (PPL) for State Fiscal Year 2009/2010 using the Financial Assistance Application Submittal Tool (FAAST). Even if your project is already listed on the 2008/2009 CWSRF PPL, it is imperative that you log into FAAST to update your information. http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/water_issues/programs/grants_loans/srf/docs/fy0910_pp_list.pdf
For applicants with existing projects on the adopted 2008/2009 CWSRF Program PPL, who did not use the FAAST System last year, please select Instructions for Existing Projects.
For applicants with new projects NOT on the 2008/2009 CWSRF PPL, please select Instructions for New Projects and follow the directions to add your projects to the Priority List.
